Legerwood Memorial Carvings - Legerwood is home to the amazing avenue of memorial tree carvings. Originally planted in 1918 by the families and friends of the tiny community's fallen WW1 soldiers - one for each man, one for Gallipoli and one for the Anzacs - a lasting tribute, determined that these brave fathers, husbands, sons and sweethearts were never to be forgotten.
